Yurt Equipment Information

Things we provide, and equipment we recommend you bring…


The Gunsight Yurt is equipped to sleep up to 1-5 people at a time (two bunks, one with a double on bottom). The Hoffer Yurt is equipped to sleep up to 6-8 people at a time (three bunks, two with doubles on the bottom). Each yurt will include the following:

  • Bunk beds
  • Thermarest sleeping pads
  • Two burner propane cook stove, propane, cooking supplies, mugs, plates, utensils
  • Lanterns for light, flashlight
  • Stock pots for melting snow for drinking water
  • Campground outhouse
  • Paper and cleaning supplies (Toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, soap, sponges, etc.)
  • Woodstove, firewood, fire starter, axe, shovel
  • Table and folding chairs
  • Fire Extinguisher, first aid kit, basic repair kit, maps of the area
  • Plastic bins for storage
  • Water jug
